Gastroparesis: There are few choice for medical treatment. Reglan (metoclopramide) is still effective but risks TD. Erythromycin has been shown to increase gastric motility slightly. Propulsid can still be obtained with special documentation but was pulled for general use because of cardiac arrhythmias. A surgical placed gastric pacemaker can also be used. Very few centers however are placing them.
