Can i take zanaflex (tizanidine) and zyrtec d together? took zyrtrec for my allergies but would like to also take my muscle relaxer.

Maybe...: they may cause sleepiness and or sedation, so i recommend taking low doses gradually to see for side effects.

Better not: If taken together can cause CNS depression and psychomotor impairment, zanaflex (tizanidine) has a short half life 2.5 hours, so it can stay in your system for 5 hours or longer, zyrtec has a half life of 9 hours, so it can stay for about 18 hours, drop one untill you talk to your doctor about an alternative, spacing them out, or dose reduction, good that you asked, always exercise caution with multiple meds
