Need evaluation : Need to see a urologist to evaluate you. Need a residual urine determination first to see if you empty your bladder. Causes can be narrowed urethra or bladder dysfunction causeing your voiding dysfunction

BPH: Manifestations of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are increased frequency of urination, nocturia, hesitancy, urgency, and weak urinary stream. Avoiding fluids prior to bedtime or before going out, reducing consumption of diuretics such as caffeine and alcohol, and double voiding to empty the bladder more completely could alleviate the sympto. Also avoid medications that can exacerbate symptoms.
