Maybe an infection: Teens with headache and fever in the winter usually have the flu, the strep throat, or some other infection. With 3 days of fever, a teen should be seen by her doctor, who can do an exam and discuss her other symptoms, to get a diagnosis. Some infections will need medications such as antibiotics or antivirals.
