My two year old has small clear spots on the botton of her feet they dont seem to bother her but her dad is a really bad diabetic?

Need more details: "Clear spots" could mean small or large blisters that contain clear fluid, hypo- pigmented areas of skin on the soles of her feet or ???. This question may be better addressed through an HT consult, in which you can send photos, or by having her pediatrician look at them. Also, a history of when they appeared, what they looked like then vs. now, related symptoms, etc., would be helpful.

Check blood sugar: There is an easy urine test to check for diabetes. You can even check her blood sugar at home with her dad's tester. It should be less than 100. That said, the symptoms of diabetes are increased thirst and frequent urination with weight loss. Problems with circulation in feet and resulting rash occurs with years of poorly treated diabetes. Hope this helps!
