Chlorine sensitive: Your doctor that treats you for asthma may know better. Your history would be informative here. The chlorine reaction is more irritant in nature, so it is ok to have exposure (not necessarily life threatening). You may benefit from using inhalant medication including corticosteroid inhaler or albuterol before swimming. The headache may or may not be related to respiratory effects.
