Check the diagnosis: It usually takes 2-3 days for yeast symptoms to improve after taking fluconazole. However, it's unusual for yeast to recur so soon, and sex usually doesn't trigger yeast. So maybe the diagnosis isn't correct. Check back with the doctor or clinic where you were diagnosed. Good luck!

Recurrent yeast: First, are we sure it is yeast infection this time? If yes, many times symptoms not relieved as quickly with oral med vs topical. Also if second one or recurrent, underlying cause of this? Low immune system or diabetes?
