Depends: Hydroquinone usually does not irritate the skin and thus one of the ingredients in the cream may be the culprit. As for skin laser, one needs to be cautious to use it on people with dark complexion and pre-treatment hydroquinone is one way to reduce the burning and scarring. Talk to the doctor giving the laser Rx and ask these questions.
