Varies : There are several potential explanations for this. Plantar flexion will have a tendency to stretch the peroneal tendons, which are right near your zone if injury and so this may be irritating it. Dorsiflexuon will tend to relax them. This should resolve as you recover from your injury, I would let your doctor know in your follow up visit.
