Unlikely: I assume the sharp object was contaminated with HIV infected blood or other bodily fluid. If that's the case get the HIV test NOW and then repeat the test if negative. The window period can be from 9 days to 3-6 months however the risk of infection is still low if that object was Properly disinfected.
