Danger: Illnesses that killed thousands of people have become part of our history thanks to vaccines. The risk of getting a vaccine is minimal compared to the risk of getting the disease and it's sequela. The immune system is exposed every day to hundreds of bacteria and viruses and it protects us from most of them. Vaccines activate our immune system to protect us against very severe illnesses.
