A member asked:

What could be the reason for frequent hunger in a 60 year old female and sense of having something in throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a GI doc: Given age, its a good idea to get an upper endoscopy (EGD) to evaluate further. early satiety (frequent hunger) can be due to undiagnosed diabetes, hypothyroid, or other conditions. Globus (or sensation of something stuck in throat) can be due to acid reflux, esophageal strictures, esophageal dysmotility, etc.
