Childhood-onset : hypothyroidism is one cause of short stature & delayed puberty, yes. Your primary care doctor or your endocrinologist also looked for what caused your hypothyroidism. Sign a release for your pediatrician to send your medical records & growth chart to your current doctors to determine when your growth started slowing. List all of your questions for your next appointment to get specific answers.

Absolutely Can: Hypothyroidism can effect all aspects of development and maturation, including onset of puberty, voice, body hair, normal male breast development, weight control among other things especially if the diagnosis was delayed. The more severe the thyroid problem and delay in diagnosis the more possible issues.
