Hemorrhage: It is possible that you have had bleeding under your nail . It is called subunchal hemorrhage. As long as it doesn't hurt, leave it alone. It will turn blue and dissolve over time. If it gets worse and starts hurting then it will have to be drained by drilling a hole in your nail.
