Only if arrhythmia: The only way the EKG can be off is if you are experiencing an arrhythmia. Sometimes, the arrhythmia can lead to an anxiety or panic attack, but the reverse is not true. (Association does not imply causation). Anxiety is state of mind which can be brought about because of changes in the body, but most often because of changes in perception (or how your brain perceives things). Discuss with your doc
