A member asked:

My cycle used to be between 28-31 days but in the past two or so months the length has jumped to 37 days, should i be worried?

No: It is common to have some irregularity to the cycle, especially if not on birth control. Stress, sleep changes, diet/exercise, travel, other health issues and meds can all cause irregular periods. You are very young so there is likely nothing wrong at all. Just keep a calendar for a few months, and if it persists and you are concerned then go in to discuss with your doctor.
