I was in nc and got checked for stds had herpes antibodies then came to nj saw a gyn got tested and was negative for all stds could i still have hsv?

Retest?: Either of the tests might have been an error and thus you should consider getting a 3rd test since we can't tell which one was wrong. In HSVII, one would expect the presence of elevated IgM antibody from an active disease and elevated IgG antibody from a previous infection even when the disease is no longer active. Thus one of the test is wrong.

Herpes: This depends on what tests were run but if you have tested positive for herpes it depends on which type as to if its the STD one.
