Kinda sorta: I wouldn't really consider it an std, although it is possible to get hsv-2 in the mouth and hsv-1 on the genitals as well.

Similar viruses: Hsv-1 is commonly acquired as a childhood illness. During an outbreak of a cold sore, it can be transmitted through mucous membranes during oral sexual encounters if contact is made to the genitals. So, although it is not considered an std, it can be acquired through sexual contact.
