Mouth pustule: The fact that your roof of mouth hard bump softened and drained pus argues strongly for a pustule (bacterial infection) rather than an herpetic sore. But then again the fact that you now have the bump back again in the same area makes recurrent herpetic sores a possibility. You should see your internist so that the sore can be visualized and treated.
