Cystic lesions: Ultrasound is good for distinguishing solid vs. cystic lesions and measuring depth. The juncture between tissues like fat and dermis can also often be identified. So if the lesion had cystic characteristics AND was within or attached to the skin, he has made a reasonable diagnosis. Some larger skin lesions can feel quite deep and be mistaken by palpation for other lesions. Path exam wld b good .

I have had lower right pain for about 5 months. I am on the pill and last month received an ultrasound showing swollen right ovary and cysts on my right ovary. They changed my pill and I am still in pain. Should I go back to the doc or wait it out?
I can palpate 3 tiny right superclavicula lymph nodes. They are tiny less than a pea size. Is this worrisome ? Had ultrasound doc said reactive but no visible infection. Had them for about 3 month now maybe longer I found them 3 month ago.
