Varies: The time frame for taking an STD test varies based on the incubation period for the infection and can differ from person to person. GC/CT is 2-6 days. Syphilis is 3-6 weeks. Hep B and HSV is 4-6 weeks. HIV - RNA is 9-11days. HIV - Antibody is 1-3 months. Testing before these time frames can possibly give you a false negative.
