A member asked:

Will metronidazole get rid of a sinus infection? i also have nasal odor and the odor worsens when i have dairy products.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Strange: Metronidazole is an antibiotic that is most often indicated for bacterial infections that may involve obligate anaerobes. I have never used it for sinusitis, though. I need to know how long this has been going on. I need other information. The association of "nasal odor" with ingestion of dairy products sounds strange. You should see your doctor, if you are worried enough.
