That's probably it!: The time period you mention is very typical for first feeling fetal movement. It usually occurs between 16 and 22 weeks. Mothers with experience in previous pregnancies are often able to appreciate the movement earlier than first timers! These first subtle kicks are known as "quickening." The sensation is described as being like popcorn popping, goldfish swimming or butterflies fluttering! Enjoy!
