35 yr male. i recently did blood work without fasting . i waited 4 hours at the va to get blood drawn.(after 3pm)my calcium level was 10.5, total protein 8.6 and albumin was 5.5, everything else came back very normal. do you think this was dehydrati?

Most likely: usually minor elevations in serum calciums are due to dehydration or any diuretic medicine. But a repeat monitoring is advisable thank you

Calcium: The slightly high calcium level requires follow-up with a repeat level and if still elevated tests for hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, multiple myeloma, bone metastases would be considered. An endocrinologist is qualified to evaluate elevated serum calcium levels.
