Seek Consultation: Anyone with HIV should be seen ASAP for treatment. It is never a wise decision to wait irrespective of the situation.

Don't wait!: You're asking a meaningless question. Experts no longer distinguish between having HIV versus AIDS. It's all HIV/AIDS, with "AIDS" the end stage. Nobody should wait for advanced infection (AIDS) to start treatment. Everyone with HIV must be treated, otherwise they will die sooner than necessary. If you have delayed Rx up til now, it's time to move forward. See an HIV specialist soon. Good luck!
