Back and thigh pain: Low back pain which radiates into the buttock and thigh is suspicious of a bulging or ruptured disc and Tylenol (acetaminophen) may not be strong enough to relieve this type of discomfort. It may take weeks for the discomfort to abate if it is a disc problem. It is best for you to consult a neurosurgeon or orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and advice if your discomfort persists and prevents you from sleeping.
