A member asked:

History of pes (8 years ago), factor v leiden positive..experiencing calf pain in left leg (started 4 pm and is worsening).possible dvt? emerg or dr?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Important symptom: If you are on warfarin or rivaroxaban, it is less likely DVT, but still possible. If not on anticoagulant, DVT is more likely. I tell my patients if they are getting worse with their symptoms, they should go to Emergency. Worrisome accompanying signs are swelling in the leg, history of being stationary for a long time, and out of breath. Best Wishes. CardioGauge.com Heart Health Education.
