Wait for ultrasound: There is always a chance that patients are earlier or farther along than we guess based on LMP. Ultrasound done between 8-12 weeks is an accurate predictor of due date. But even then, keep in mind that "due date" is still just a guide...it is normal for babies to be born anywhere from 37-41 weeks.
