Yes: If you were pregant, you may have had a miscarriage. Otherwise it may be uterine lining that is being expelled and has clotted on the way out. Rarely, you can pass small fibroids or polyps out as well

Likely okay: There are normal variations in the amount and pattern of bleeding during menstrual discharge. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex.
