Yes: Excess omega -3 fatty acid supplements associated with increased risk for prostate and breast cancer. Excessive amounts also probably not good metabolically .

Omega 3 fatty acids: I admire you for your interest in having Good Health. Daily requirement of Omega 3 fatty acids EPA plus DHA is 500 mg, for people with heart disease up to 1000 mg/ day. More than1000 mg/ day can have increased risk of bleeding, and it can interfere with some medicines. Discuss with your Physician about your diet, supplements with Omega 3, their benefits ans risks.. also discuss Balanced Diet.
