Unique situation....: After a blood loss there is a lag period after which the blood work becomes relevant. Body immediately reacts to blood loss with increased heart rate which is felt as palpitation. Also your mind, base line health and activity level plays a role. That is why in older civilizations women are given social rest during the period.
