Oh my aching .......: When you hit anything, especially at 50 mph, your car isn't the only thing going to absorb impact. The collision impact will also be absorbed through the floorboard into your legs. This puts an abnormally high amount of stress to the supportive soft tissue structures of the legs and feet. Consequently the muscles, tendons, ligament and bones will be in a world of hurt for some time.
