A member asked:

Are you able to become pregnant after taking an ecp, after the 72 and ovulate b4 taking it?also, i'm a mother of a 9 month and still breastfeed.

When it comes to: ...pregnancy, even the most unlikely event is possible. ECPs are less effective when taken more than 72 hours after unprotected sex. You can ovulate & conceive after having a baby but before resuming periods. Breastfeeding doesn't reliably prevent pregnancy. Do a pregnancy test. If it's neg, & u don't want to get PG this soon, use a contraceptive that won't interfere with breastfeeding.
