Chances are: good that you are already immune to it, but mononucleosis virus (Epstein Barr or EBV) is ubiquitous and 99.99% of people have immunity to EBV in their lifetime. I would not be worried about getting mono, but if it did happen there is nothing you can do to prevent it anyway. Other than wear facial protection when there are people with cold/flu symptoms about.

People are only: contagious with mono while they are ill and for a brief period afterward. You have no chance of getting mono from that person.

Odds are very slim: Mononucleosis is infectious for a limited time. It is unlikely that you are at risk right now.
