Aloe vera, 1/2-1% HC: Aloe vera can help soothe red itchy skin. Definitely, stop the benzoyl peroxide. There are other good acne medications by prescription. Careful use of 1% hydrocorisone OTC without getting it into the eyes, washing hands right afterwords, and using sparingly twice daily rubbed in no more than a week is another option. If gets into eyes, can cause catarracts or glaucoma. Qtips for application help.

Time: Ah Oh, so sorry about that! This does happen sometimes with Benzoyl Peroxide. I would use Dove unscented soap and just gently pat dry with an unscented moisturizer like Olay Complete, possibly an oral antihistamine like zyrtec (cetirizine) 10 mg if the itching is severe. Give your skin a week to recover.
