how can you tell the difference between bronchitis and pneumonia?

Difficult to do: Somethings the lung sounds are similar. Pneumonia on chest X-ray has a picture that may be characteristic. Bronchitis on the other hand often times has a normal chest X-ray. Somethings the treatment may be slightly different.
