After 3 months of gym and cutting down on smoking my heart rate went from 75-80 to 55 just when taking a break and sitting down for a bit and during work its 60-70 is it normal? i also feel tired but when i smoke i dont feel tired anymore

Ans: You must have a good exercise regimen and sticking with it. Yes athletes will have a lower heart rate due to the conditioning of the body. The heart becomes more efficient and has to work less. The heart becomes able to keep up with the demands of the body efficiently. Now quit that smoking
