I've been on what im assuming is my period for well over a week. its showing no signs of stopping. i'm having bright red blood now.

Get checked.: If your period doesn't stop in a few days. If it does, and your next period is also abnormal get checked. If you are sexually active do a pregnancy test, and repeat in a week if negative. Sometimes a heavy period can be due to a miscarriage. Also, stop any over the counter meds or supplements you may have started in the last few months.
