What does it mean when you get pain on the left side of your waist, ive had it for 2 days, never had it before. its not too painful but wondered why?

Hard to say: The organs in that area - colon, ureter, ovaries. So pain in the left flank could be a problem in one of those organs. Alternatively you could have a spasmed muscle or a pinched nerve causing the pain. You're probably going to have to see your doctor to get things ruled in and out!
