Unlikely: What you described is unlikely to be cancer, though is not feasible to say what it is, without examining you. If the spot has not grown in 9-10 months, you may just watch and wait. Have some one examine it every three months or so and if it does not grow, you may leave it alone. If it grows or bleeds, see an ENT specialist.

Went to ER for the white spot in my mouth/throat. Dr said it was due to a URI. He said it was not cancer. feeling better but spot is still there. Help?
