If urine test shows occasional squamous epi cells are the rest of the results accurate?

Occasional squamous: epithelial cells in the urine are perfectly acceptable for the specimen. It is only an indicator of how "clean catch" the urine specimen is. Unacceptable specimens contain moderate to high concentration of squamous epithelial cells which may interfere with specific gravity and bacteria presence, as well as the microscopic sediment portion.
