P: premenstrual dysphoric syndrome is a syndrome similar to PMS and can be associated with headaches, joint pain, mode swings, panic attacks, irritability and palpitations. It is due to hormonal changes which occur with ovulation. It is treated with drugs that suppress ovulation.
