A member asked:

I flushed a maggot type bug out of my ear the other day and ear feels fine. wondering if i should go to dr... what are the odds it laid eggs in ear??

None: Maggots are the larva form of development of the common house fly. They arise from the multiple eggs laid by a fly. They themselves do not lay eggs. A fly has to enter your ear to lay multiple eggs. If you had a larva come out of ear there would be multiple larvae coming out of your ear. I doubt that you had a larva coming out of your ear. Have your ear checked by a doctor to make sure.
