No crystal ball here: No one can predict the outcome of surgery for certain, either immediately or long term. Discuss this with the surgeon. Consider second opinion for another point of view. Remember, feet get a lot of use, so wear and tear on them is more over time than on parts less used, even if no problems!

For as long as I can remember Ive been able to move the peroneal tendons on my right foot over the ankle bone to make a clicking sort of sensation. There is usually no pain but sometimes my foot does feel weak when I run. Is this cause for concern?
Bone hurts where peroneal tendon ascends up the leg (above ankle). No trauma or injury. X-ray normal. Palpation causes sensitivity and pain. Plz help?
Had peroneal sublux surg-still snap, then incr pain,snap stop. Unstable, bump in tendon above bone, pain top foot-stairs. Dr.says steroid shot. Safe?
