Touchy surgery.: There are two sesamoid bones. Either one can be totally or partially removed, for a variety of reasons. Normal activities and work vary from person to person. Because of so many variables, your best answer to the post operative time frame is best answered by the surgeon who performed the work and is familiar with your lifestyle particulars. In general, this surgery is often unpredictable.
