I used a hot compress on my chalazion and now it stings and burns and looks pudgier with some blistering. what should i do?

Check up: It sounds like it's not really getting better with your treatment. The blisters bother me and, therefore, I recommend an exam to make sure your treatment is appropriate. Viral infections like herpes simplex, can cause a blistering and a painful rash. I suppose if your compresses are way too hot, you could be burning the delicate eyelid skin.
