I was on depo for 13 years. i stopped the shot just over a year ago. could this play a part in having such severe pms? the week before is horrible!

Depo would mask: Depoprovera would mask and hide PMS while you were on it. Once you got off it PMS would be not show up Being on Depoprovera previously would not cause it but stopping it would allow preexisting PMS to become apparent. There are many treatment options for PMS

No: The depo left your system a year ago. PMS does sometimes worsen with age. You may want to try a low dose birth control pill to see if it will help. It might be helpful to know what PMS symptoms you're having to help more.
