Recheck in 3-5 days: Every woman experiences some change/irregularity in her period at time, especially with illness, medication use, stress, rapid weight loss, endocrine disorder such as thyroid diseases etc. Pregnancy is one reason to miss period and so doing a hpt can quickly and reliably tell. If negative, recheck in 3-5 days. If in 3-5 days n still neg, likely then it is just an exception. Consult doc. Good luck.
