It is common to have: irregular bleeding in the first 3 months, sometimes heavy. Your body is trying to get used to life without that IUD, which means your hormones are in flux right now until it rights itself again. I would check another pregnancy test in 1 week if you have had unprotected intercourse during the "danger" period. If that test is negative again, I would just wait. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
