Pretty much.: There is no 100% guarantee, but the risks are very low. Unless you have been on a medication (like some antibiotics) lately that can interfere with its effect. You are are not protected from std.'s though. If you have not been with this partner in a mutually monogamous relationship for a year (and have not verified that you are both disease free), then get checked soon to be sure you don't now.
